My apologies for my intermittent(at best) posts;) Its' been one crazy late summer /early fall on so many levels of my life;) --Sort of like windmills-continually moving--
Speaking of--isn't this pic lovely? Air energy windmills dot the landscape near where I live and I have found their artistic beauty(IMO) a serene view at sunset.
Moving right along--I want to thank everyone for the lovely emails regarding your thoughts in reading THE MASTER & THE MUSES. I admit Thomas was rather one of those men extremely hard to peel away the layers of, but deep down, he is a darling. ;) As I've always stated--you either love him or hate him-but rarely can you forget him;) It's good to know that the majority of you really loved the book!;)
FORBIDDEN PLEASURES-the story of Torin and Alyson is now available at Harlequin Spice Briefs and all its many forms of ebook distributions, including at Amazon Kindle. It's received a thoughtful and provoking review--as always at ALL I WANT AND MORE *scroll down to read Cecile's review! Cecile knows I love her reviews because they are real and make you think beyond the book!
New on the horizon-I'm excited to announce a new publisher-Decadent Publishing is now open and ready to introduce some smashing new authors to the reading world! Additionally, I have found a home there for a couple of stories as I continue to branch out into the Contemporary romantic suspense realm! For your steamier shape-shifter read I have BY THE LIGHT OF THE SILVERY MOON--its a short read I like to call my "fang in cheek" tale on she-wolves;)
Coming this December (gorgeous cover art coming soon, I hope!) I am pleased to announce a beautiful holiday historical romance(in the true traditional sense) set against the backdrop of New York City . It is heartwrenching story of a hardworking Irishman, Brady McCormick who makes a promise to his wife to bring their son to America and make a life-in spite of what may happen to her. When she dies, he struggles with ever being able to love anyone as much and is protective of her memory and their son, until he meets a tenacious, beautiful and kind American woman who cares for his son and eventually captures his heart as well. A CHRISTMAS PROMISE will be out in December 2010 from Decadent Publishing.
Please visit UNUSUAL HISTORICALS this Friday (9.24.10) when I will be featured as one of their new contributors. I have always admired and marveled at what these authors find and share in the realm of historical research-and so becoming a part of this group is both an honor and thrill for me. Watch for announcements of a fantastic celebration coming from UH in December when they celebrate their anniversary! LOTS of book giveaways and fun things going on!
Finally, thank you to you who have asked about my mom's health and continue to keep her in your thoughts. Its a comfort to know that my friends care;)
Hope to see you Friday over at Unusual Historicals! I may even be giving away a book of your choice that day!
Be well~
Amanda
